We were able to talk to Sarah on the phone yesterday before she flew to Washington. The missionaries are able to call on pay phones at the airport, so it was a short chat but so nice to hear her voice. She is doing well. She said not to worry because it is the happiest she has ever been. She is working very very hard, but she says that it is all worth it.
We also received 2 letters from her this morning. We had been in Tampa for the weekend, so we were so excited to be able to read them. She sounds very busy but excited to head off to Washington. Here are a couple things to note from her letters.
-"The MTC is the hardest, most challenging (physically, mentally, emotionally and SPIRITUALLY) thing I have ever/will do in my life--but IT IS SO WORTH IT. Your companion, district, branch and everyone here--make it worth it."
In the MTC, she was a Sister Training Leader, so she was able to welcome all the new missionaries in her group and help them feel comfortable and not homesick.
She has many experiences. She says it has been an emotional rollercoaster.
She thanks everyone for all the support and love!
